If you're a coffee nerd looking for the greatest cup of black coffee in this town, go here. Yes that's a bold statement, and several others are also really good (namely OCJ/Wild Love and Partial Cafe to round out my top 3), but that special machine that does single cup/single origin coffees really brings out the flavor and prevents any unwanted bitter notes on every coffee I've tried, and I'm well into the double digits of trying different selections this way. The impressive roasting machine in the corner adds to the street cred these folks know a thing or 12 about coffee. I do miss the food pop-up that Simpl did with them for a while, it truly was the greatest breakfast/lunch and coffee spot in one, but the coffee is exceptional enough on it's own I will find reasons to go there. The atmosphere is always bright and pleasant, and the music is somehow always great and at a volume respectable for work or conversation. The staff have always been above-and-beyond wonderful to me and every interaction I've witnessed with others. Stop in and enjoy this gem in Knoxville!

This coffee shop is amazing. It's everything you want from a coffee shop. The staff are super friendly (the girl at the counter was super sweet and welcoming), the atmosphere is relaxed but has the low noise of people enjoying their morning, there is plenty of seating, parking was easy, and the coffee is delicious!! We ordered the almond maple latte, the cinnamon crunch latte and a drip with espresso, everything was great! We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Super cool space in a great location! They roast all their own coffee and have one of my favorite espressos I have ever had in Knoxville. Service is great and staff is super friendly/helpful. Would highly recommend this spot for coffee! Can’t wait to try more items from the menu:)

Found my new favorite coffee shop. I love that it has the downtown vibe, but has free parking across the street. The layout is open and airy and the staff are so kind. I enjoyed a cafe miel, which you can tell from the photo was made with care. If you go to coffee shops to work or study like me, you’ll be happy to hear they have plenty of outlets and strong wifi. Literally my only gripe is there are only a few places to sit very comfortably, and those seats fill up fast!

The hidden gem of Knoxville! This is the coffee shop I’ve been searching for. Coffee is delicious. Space is bright, open and well designed. Baristas are friendly and helpful. I was surprised to find a link to Chicago here too which made me love it even more.

Coffee is very good and I'm pretty picky as a coffee roaster myself. People inside were friendly and I love the minimalist feel. Nothing overly done or too many flavors on the menu. They do coffee well so there's no need to over complicate anything. Definitely a must if you're in or around Knoxville.

What you expect out of a coffee roaster. Small coffee list that does have seaaonal flavors. Roasters want you to taste the flavor profiles. I definitely enjoyed the iced mocha. Nice hip space. Would definitely go back.
